Agreed. Goalie salaries are trending back upward. Especially those with playoff success.. just look at Flower.

Sorry I'm with Paul. Flower has what 3 rings? And Pekka has ....not to mention a melt down in the playoffs.

Love Ellis ! Heck I remember early in his career everyone gave up on him including Crispy. He said he shouldn't be playing D and "they should move him to forward". (Ha)
Unfortunately, I think either he or Josi will end up gone.

No way they let josi go! If either goes unfortunately itll be Ellis. Lets hope we keep both for another deep playoff run

Yup fresh off another Vezina nomination. 3M is very wishful thinking. If he performs like last season, and is willing to take a one year term, he could fetch north of 6M easily.

Better trade him to the Leafs for picks and a prospect

Poile has to sack up and leverage Rinne's age, playoff (lack of) success and probably unwillingness to move

I'd literally sit down with Pekka and say "I think we've been overpaying you for the last few years given the defense we've put up in front of you and your backups comparable numbers"

Take this or leave it

I wouldn't include him in any future version of the team beyond this year unless it's in coaching. Best case scenario: they win the cup and he retires on his own. Even then, it's going to include a healthy dose of Sauros (it should have last year in the playoffs).

- Dante Fabbro has kinda, sorta, maybe made a commitment to not try the free agent route… when asked about free agency he said… “I've always said that I want to play in Nashville and I want to be a Predator.” When referring to free agency he said “I honestly don't think it'll come to that, but a lot of things can happen. My sisters went to school here. I have some roots here. My favorite player growing up was Shea Weber, and obviously Nashville was my favorite team. So I have no reason to want to go somewhere else.” OK…

Sounds like something Jimmy Vesey said once upon a time
